Publications

At present HITA is involved in producing the proceedings of the annual research conference and endorses ITH. Information Technology in Hospitality (formerly the International Journal of Hospitality Information Technology) is a double blind peer reviewed academic journal which also incorporates an industry review section. ITH, now published by Cognizant Communications is a sister publication to ITT, Information Technology in Tourism.

The objective of ITH is to publish articles in the field of hospitality information technology, a field which may be interpreted in the broadest sense. Articles should be the author's original work and cannot be published or considered for publication elsewhere. The intent of the Journal is to serve as a medium through which both hospitality industry practitioners and researchers can display and exchange ideas. The Journal strives to keep its readers abreast of the latest developments in hospitality information technology by publishing articles of the highest possible standards. Articles published will be both refereed and invited, to reflect the synthesis between industry and academia in the field of hospitality information technology.
